This is the third one of three Rilakkuma teddy bears I have made for my niece. I finished this one last January 14th. Look for the other two teddy bears in my gallery.
I printed this model at half its size. That was not a problem because this model doesn't have tiny and detailed pieces. My biggest problem with this model was the sailor cap. The construction of this cap is unusual and without instructions, it took me a while to figure out how to make it. Then, I made a terrible job glueing it. The cap looks fine in the outside but in the inside it was a mess. Finally, when I looked at the picture of the finished model that I had as reference I noticed that I hadn't built correctly. Still, it looks like a sailor cap, so I decided to leave it be. In addition to that, I didn't glue as well as I should one of the flaps in the head and it looks ugly, like a scar. Fortunately, the error is not very noticeable. For whatever reason the template didn't include the tail of the bear, but I printed a tail piece from one of the other templates and added it to the model. Finally, I made the muzzle 3D like intended by the author of the template. In the other two bears the muzzle is flat because I hadn't noticed that I had to give volume to the piece. Blame the lack of instructions.
I have mixed feelings with how the model came out. I am mostly happy with the result but my built should have been better.

Template: The template can be downloaded from the author's web. There are templates for more Rilakkuma bears and ducks there. The web is in Japanese and it is not well organised.
Info: 2 sheets of A4 paper, 27 pieces. Printed in 120 gsm paper. Template in jpg format. There is a fourth sheet with generical instructions for the body but not for clothes or complements.

Éste es el tercero de tres ositos Rilakkuma que hice para mi sobrina. Éste lo terminé el pasado 14 de enero. Busca en mi galería los otros dos ositos.
Imprimí este modelo a la mitad de su tamaño. Eso no fue ningún problema porque el modelo no tiene piezas pequeñas y detalladas. Mi mayor problema fue la gorra. La construcción de esta gorra es inusual y no hay instrucciones. Me llevó un rato averiguar cómo debía ensamblarla y luego hice un mal trabajo pegándola. La gorra luce bien por fuera, pero por dentro es una chapuza. Finalmente, cuando miré de nuevo la foto de referencia me di cuenta de que la había construido incorrectamente. En cualquier caso tiene pinta de gorra de marinero así que decidí dejarlo pasar. Otro defecto del modelo es una solapita en la cabeza que no pegué tan bien como debía y parece como si el oso tuviera una fea cicatriz en la cara. El fallo se ve claramente en una de las fotos, pero se nota poco en el modelo en sí. Como aspectos positivos a señalar: añadí la colita que tomé de la plantilla de otro oso (por alguna razón la plantilla de este oso no incluía cola) e hice el hocico tridimensional, como al autor le gusta. En los otros dos ositos que hice el hocico es plano pero sólo porque no me di cuenta de que tenía que darle volumén. Culpa la falta de instrucciones.
Tengo sentimientos agridulces sobe mi trabajo aquí. Estoy mayormente feliz con el resultado pero debería haberlo hecho mejor.
